Inspired by McSweeney’s, my friend Sylvia “discovered” this previously unknown poem by ee cummings (who apparently had a foot fetish).

stockings are hung
lovingly (my loveand i are bare
foot & quietly wait for
our stockings - gently
to be filled) with
love, my lovei do not stir
my heart bare & your
bare heart
two hearts (our stockings full
